gzochi

gzochi is a toolkit for developing and hosting Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs). gzochi provides:

A monolithic, multithreaded server capable of simultaneously hosting an arbitrary number of different games and users.
A static, multithreaded client library that provides abstraction for client developers, to the extent that they are only responsible for processing object-based updates from the server.
A library of transmission protocols and utility functions against which both the server and the client library are linked.

There is no current stable release of gzochi.

The most current gzochi source code is always available, via anonymous CVS, from SourceForge -- click here to browse the CVS tree on the web. Bear in mind that code obtained from CVS is not guaranteed to work, nor even to compile.
